Research Club

There are many exciting developments on Brain Health from recent scientific research studies. The challenge is to be able to navigate the overwhelming amount of information and stay up to date. Our quarterly Research Club allows you to connect with researchers in the field of Brain Health and discuss the latest information in ways that anyone can understand.

This is your space, a place for you to share your stories, your thoughts, the life experiences that taught you the most in your journey. We believe that we learn something valuable with every person we meet.

NMOSD Brain health Program

Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD) is a rare neurological disorder of the Central nervous system. Our understanding of the disease as well as the treatment options for NMOSD patients have expanded tremendously in the last few years. Our Brain Health Program was developed to provide participants with an up to date review of the most relevant topics related to building Brain reserve and optimizing BRAIN HEALTH.

Living well with Parkinson’s disease. Whether you are newly diagnosed or looking for additional support in your journey, this program will take you through steps to better understand PD. It will provide you with the knowledge you need to take control of your life and make informed decisions about your care. Our experts will review evidence-based information related to nutrition, medical interventions, physical therapy and music therapy in the care of PD patients.

Brain health TRAVEL AWARD

The Brain Health Travel Award is intended to encourage and support medical professionals to further develop their education on Brain Health. This award provides funding to cover registration and/or travel expenses up to $1,200, to attend national and/or international meetings related to the field of Neurosciences. The purpose of this award is to allow health care professionals to gain valuable insight and critical knowledge from experts as well as foster multidisciplinary collaborations across the scientific community.

Eligibility

Health Care Professionals (RN, APP, MD, DO, PT, OT) with an active license in the US are invited to apply. All applicants will be considered regardless of age, race, gender, national origin, or religion.

Applicants should have authorization from their institution to attend the meeting.

If Selected, awardees and/or their institutions should expect to cover any travel costs that exceed the amount awarded. The award must be fulfilled within the year it was granted.
